This spring, Redeemer Road has joined with a parent-run fundraising committee to create a new and exciting way to strengthen Redeemer and our families. Called “The Gala,” this event joins school families, staff and teachers, congregation members and our community in support of the school’s legacy of high educational standards. Redeemer is proud to present the 80s Prom theme’d Gala as a way to bring our community together for a night of celebration.

The Redeemer Gala is not only a time to celebrate Redeemer, but also a place for our community to shape and bolster friendships. The 80s Prom theme’d night will be a curated evening of live music, inspiring stories, light bites, games and more!
Redeemer is proud to serve over 300 families each academic year that reflect the economic and cultural diversity of the city of Austin – 40% of students are from underrepresented communities and 20% of its student body receive financial assistance.
From sponsorships and ticket sales, to silent auction and raffle, all proceeds from The Gala will benefit our wonderful teachers.
Sponsoring a table at the Gala is a way to have fun while also giving great support to Redeemer! Here are the different Table Sponsorship levels:

Another way to support the auction is to donate items, experiences, or services to the silent auction.
Individual tickets to the event are $125 and will go on sale in January.
Why is it called a “gala?”
Simply because Redeemer Road’s Spring Fundraising Event is too long! And also, we called it something special because it will be something special. We are so blessed our community can come together to support Redeemer in this way.
What does the ticket price cover?
Approximately half the amount of the ticket will cover the costs associated with the event; the other half is to support the our fundraising efforts and to ensure teachers can attend the event for free. All proceeds from The Gala will benefit Redeemer’s annual fund, which helps to cover costs not covered by tuition and aids in teacher retention and recruitment.
What do I wear?
The 2025 Gala Theme is 80s Prom! Yes, you should dress up and have fun with it! Sequins, glitters, dresses, bold accessories, wild colors, high-wasted trousers – you name it. Casual or fancy, be as creative as you wish.
Are dinner and drinks served?
We’ll have heavy appetizers, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages at The Gala! Your ticket includes food and 2 drinks per ticket. Additional drinks are available at a cash bar.
What can I expect at The Gala?
Live music, food, drinks, a silent auction, raffle and a great time with your friends all in support of Redeemer!
Can I bring my kids?
This fundraiser is an adult-only event. Please hire a sitter and leave the kids at home.
